Chirst Public School Annual Day Celebrations

Annual Function forms an integral part of our school activities.  It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, feast and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements.

Science Exhibition in the school premise laid the foundation of 8th Annual Show of novel exhibits enthused with a desire to raise a toast through their scientific temper.

The budding scientists of our school presented many creative ideas as exhibits. The exhibits were attractive and marvellous. Several still and working models such as Rocket Launcher, Double Circulation, Hydraulic Lift, Burglar’s alarm, Recycling of paper and Smart City were put up on display.

The Chief guest keenly interacted with students who exuded confidence while explaining to him the various projects and activities that were on display. The exhibition provided a platform to scientific experimentation and innovation to the future scientists. The enthusiasm and skill clubbed with in depth knowledge was commendable. With an endeavour to promote scientific attitude among students the exhibition was one of its kind. All the dignitaries appreciated the novel ideas of the participants.

The cultural extravaganza commenced with the lighting of the Ceremonial lamp by the Hon’ble Chief Guest and other esteemed dignitaries. This entailed the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges.

School Captain and Vice- Captains extended a warm welcome to all the acclaimed guests present. The two–hour long Cultural Show held the audience in awe and left them enlightened as the show reached its climax.

The journey of a girl child from an unwanted thing to a celebrity in the society was depicted through a blend of drama and dance. The satire on the thought – process of humans by the animals and the depiction of dreams and desires of an unborn girl was an eye-opener for the audience. The function included Saraswati Vandana, Orchestra by the students and Fusion Dance.

The Chief Guest was superlative in his appreciation of the students, teachers and management for a classic programme presented. He congratulated the school for taking such an edifying topic which requires a quick moral action on everybody’s part. To express his delight he stated that he felt highly honoured and elated to have visited CPS, Mysuru. He lauded the vision and the relentless hard work done by mentors for bringing out hidden talents of students.

The Annual Prize Distribution function was a moment of pride and honour for all the winners and achievers of the school. For accreditation dazzling stars were bestowed with mementos in Academics as well as Co-Curricular areas. The programme culminated with the National Anthem.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
